COVID-19 cases remain stable in Georgia and South Carolina. The Georgia Department of Public Health reported 1,031 cases on Saturday and 41 deaths.

Last year, Georgia had 834,696 positive tests for COVID-19 and 15,872 people died.

Richmond County reported 13 cases for 18,935, while Columbia County had five cases for 10,653. Burke County reported three new cases for 1,698, and McDuffie, Jenkins, Jefferson and Glascock count added a new case each. All remaining counties in the Augusta area of ​​Georgia have reported no new cases.

Two people died in Screven County, causing the death toll to 20. One person died in Richmond County, which lost 370 people to COVID-19. The death toll in the area is 968.

Doctor’s Hospital of Augusta added a positive case to 760 and remained with 19 cases, said spokesman Kaden Jacobs.

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control reported 1,065 new cases for 454,158 and 28 new deaths for 7,842. Aiken County had nine cases for 12,327 and no deaths, Edgefield County reported three cases for 2,437.
