QUOTES
– “I came on Monday and completely changed everything we do defensively. Give these kids credit, they responded from a bad game against Auburn, an embarrassing defensive performance. It can be the worst defensive performance of any team I’ve coached. We prepared very well and went out and played in that new system, with different techniques and different terminology and played better than the other things we practiced every day for six months, or at least every day before December. I think the fact that we do things together and have defensive success, as the game progressed, gave our boys confidence in what we are doing and more confidence in each other ”. – Head coach Frank Martin
– Basically we stopped pressing the ball much more upwards and we are basically sinking deeper into the gaps to condense the lanes. We’ll do it day after day and see how the rest of the season goes. ” – Hannibal in defensive team adjustments with minor lineups
– “I have to support him, he is a very good player and has improved a lot. He is another difficult shipowner we will have to deal with. We have to follow our defensive scheme and work as best as possible as a team to achieve victory. He’s a great guard. ” – Hannibal will fight against Pippen Jr.
