In the last recruiting season, we saw the 2021 gang share a bunch of steak emojis that turned out to be a bushel of commitments in late spring and summer. We were a little perplexed at the time, but it was clear that the group was working together to try to do a little recruiting on their own.
Go ahead so far, and the 2022 class seems to be taking over what the most recent class did. It all started with the best contender in the class, five-star quarterback Quinn Ewers, changing his Twitter profile picture to an image of deer horns with an Ohio state cap on top. Now, it looks like the rest of the class is changing their Twitter profile photos to the same, with Ewers talking about a potential, huge, #Boom or #Boom series, let’s just wait and see.
We are sharing with you this series of Tweets from many of the Buckeyes already verbally engaged in the 2022 class, and we will only have to keep an eye out to see if any big news breaks out soon in Ohio football recruiting front. So far, eight of the ten commits have made changes to their profile pictures.
