Senator Tom Cotton, R-Ark., Said on Monday that he was “happy to see Joe Biden singing a different tune” regarding the position of US foreign policy towards China, but he criticized the president for not outlining the details of your strategy.
During an appearance on “Fox & Friends,” Cotton said “it is not a show of strength” for Biden to simply “rebuke” President Trump’s positions without giving indications of how his plans may deviate or be similar to those of the previous President.

Cotton also accused China of bending international laws and organizations to support its own interests and asked Biden to investigate Wuhan’s laboratories in China and continue to support our allies in the region. You know, in the campaign he said that the Chinese leadership was not a bad person and that he was not our competitor, of course he is the most dangerous long-term strategic competitor But simply scolding President Trump for being the first president in two generations to confront the Chinese Communist party and saying he will do it differently, without specifying how he will do it differently, is not a show of strength.
Look, it was a year ago this week that I started to demand an investigation in the Wuhan laboratories and if they could have been the source of the plague that China spread in the world. You know that the media at the time hyperventilated that I was spreading conspiracy theories, now they are admitting that it is plausible and needs to be investigated. Meanwhile, a year later, we are still dealing with the consequences here in America. Our schools are closed and children are not being educated in large part because of the malevolence and neglect of Chinese Communists.
