Costco is expected to close all of its photography centers across the country next month.
According to a newsletter on the Costco Photo Center website entitled “Important Photo Center Announcement”, on February 14, the company is closing all of its photography departments across all Costco facilities.
Consumers will still be able to order some items online for delivery, including prints, enlargements and posters; photo albums and calendars, stationery and greeting cards with photos, prints on canvas, metal and acrylic; photographic blankets and other photo gifts; and commercial printing products.
In the ad, Costco said services such as ink refilling, passport photos, photo restoration and YesVideo home movie transfer service would not be available after the centers closed.
