Forget the slow starts that escaped Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season.
With a playoff offer in play on Saturday, Brady hit Rob Gronkowski on a fade route for a 33-yard touchdown in possession – the 96th all-time touchdown connection for the pair. It was the first time the Bucs had scored a touchdown on the opening drive since week 4.
This marked Brady’s 33rd touchdown pass for Bucs this season, equaling Jameis Winston’s franchise record for a single season, set last year.

Brady later connected with Mike Evans on a 27-yard score for a record 34 in the Bucs’ only season.
