‘Control: Ultimate Edition’ is the title of February’s PS Plus giveaway lot

Sony unveiled the next batch of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers – Control: Ultimate Edition, AllStars Destruction (PS5 only) and Concrete Genie – which you can claim from February 2nd. The inclusion of To control caused some protests due to the way the next generation update of the game was handled.

In August, publisher 505 Games announced that there would be no free update to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S versions for those who purchased the basic game on PS4 or Xbox One. Players who bought and wanted to revisit To control with ray-tracing and other updates needed to get the final edition. Some of those who bought Control: Ultimate Edition in anticipation of the PS5 version coming February 2, we’re not exactly excited about it being available to PS Plus members for free.

Sony said earlier All-Stars Destruction it will be a PS Plus gift for two months when the game is released. It was supposed to be a PS5 launch title, but Sony postponed it until February. The company also released its latest State of Play video, which offers a deep dive into the derby game of destruction.

Concrete Genie, in turn, is a charming action-adventure game that debuted in 2019. You will have until March 1 to claim this and Control: Ultimate Edition, and until April 5 to arrest AllStars Destruction. In the meantime, you can still choose January’s free PS Plus games – Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Greedfall and the PS5 version of Maneater – free until February 1st.
