Earlier today, a superficial report suggested that Apple could have an ‘iPad mini Pro’ in development. Although this report should be treated with a little skepticism, a new concept imagines how that iPad mini iPad Pro style could be …
Background
In May 2020, Apple’s trusted analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, reported that Apple would launch an iPad mini that is between 8.5 and 9 inches in the first half of 2021. At the time, Kuo offered no details about the iPad mini updated design, instead of saying that the selling points would be “the affordable price and the adoption of fast chips”.
As tracking, Macotakara reported in January that an iPad mini could be launched later this month. This report specified, however, that the iPad mini will keep the bezels at the top and bottom with a home button and Touch ID, in addition to Lightning connectivity at the bottom.
Many people have called Apple to launch a modern version of the iPad mini, with the same almost frameless design that we saw on the iPad Pro and iPad Air 4. This can also bring Face ID to the iPad mini, or move the Touch ID for the on / off button.
Today’s report came as part of a brief post on a Korean blog Naver and suggested that the “iPad mini Pro” is currently under development and could arrive “in the second half”. This report, however, should be treated with some skepticism, as it contradicts reports by Kuo and Macotakara.

Here is a look at the renderers:
