Colorado will expand eligibility for COVID-19 vaccinations

DENVER (AP) – State officials in Colorado said that more frontline workers and people with multiple chronic health conditions could become eligible for COVID-19 vaccines starting next week.

The Denver Post reported on Tuesday that the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment confirmed that the state hopes to move on to the next phase of its vaccination plan on or around March 5, but did not provide details on when all at the stage they would be eligible.

The new phase will cover frontline workers in a variety of sectors, including the US postal service, supermarkets and public transportation.

It would also expand to people with two or more high-risk health conditions, including cancer, diabetes and Down syndrome.
