THE Colin Kaepernick TV production is taking security measures after a threat at the hands of anti-BLM protesters … TMZ Sports Learned.
Project executives sent an email to the team with measures to protect the cast and crew. We will not disclose the measures, but the bosses are clearly taking it seriously.
Production sources told TMZ Sports that they were informed that the anti-BLM group was planning a protest last Friday on the shoot. This protest did not materialize, but it caused concern between the cast and the technical team.

The production — starring Jaden Michael as CK – was notified last week in a memo … “anti-BLM feelings may protest against production.” Two production sources told TMZ Sports that there was also a threatening phone call made last week to the production office.
Production sources tell us that the anti-BLM group that made the threat was the Proud Boys.
In fact … we were told that Colin was not on set last week.

The production – “Colin in Black and White” – chronicles Kaepernick’s school years and the racism he faced. He highlights the events that inspired Colin’s social activism. It is run by Ava DuVernay and Colin will narrate the 6-part series.
“Colin in black and white” is one of Netflix’s most anticipated shows this year.
