Weekend Update co-anchor Colin Jost fiercely spiked the beleaguered Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida), who even Jost admitted he looks surprisingly like him.
“Representative Matt Gaetz, who looks like a drawing of me by a cartoon artist, is reportedly under investigation for an alleged sexual relationship with a minor girl – because Gaetz believes that only voters should show their identity,” joked Jost.
“It is also being reported that Gaetz may have paid to have sex with women he met online. This story was confirmed by all its vibrancy, ”added Jost.
Gaetz is under investigation for allegedly having sex with a minor and possible sex trafficker. He was also accused of sex with prostitutes under the effect of ecstasy and of showing nudes of women he had sex with to colleagues in the Chamber.
Jost made hilarious contrasting statements about Gaetz’s denials and his own complete skepticism.
Statements by Gaetz’s office insisted that the conservative lawmaker “never paid for sex … never was in such a way [dating] sites of any kind … [and] he appreciates the relationships in his past and hopes to marry the love of his life. “
Jost statements: “Colin Jost does not believe you. Colin Jost thinks you’ve been everything the sites. Colin Jost thinks you should postpone sending out these wedding invitations. “
