Jennifer Aniston may be a girlfriend from America, but one of her former castmates recently admitted that working with her was not as easy as it sounds. During an interview on January 19 in Drew Barrymore’s namesake talk show, Riverdale Star Cole Sprouse, who played Ross’s son Ben in Friends, admitted that it was “very difficult” to work with Aniston on the sitcom. When asked by Barrymore if it is true that he had a crush on Aniston as a child, Sprouse admitted that he did – and that his feelings for the star made working together more than a little strange.
“In fact, it was very difficult to work in front of her, I must admit,” Sprouse told Barrymore. “I stuttered a lot and forgot my lines.” And for more hilarious celebrity confessions, Jennifer Aniston says this was her most embarrassing moment.
Although Sprouse did not mention whether or not Aniston was informed of his feelings for her, there were many people in the Friends define who knew exactly what was going on.

Despite having more than a little difficulty acting with Aniston as a child, Sprouse expressed confidence that he could maintain his professionalism if the opportunity to act together again presented itself.

This is not the first time that Sprouse has publicly admitted his intense feelings for Aniston, however. During a 2017 interview with New York PostSprouse revealed that his feelings went far beyond a passion. “I was so in love with her. I was in love,” said the actor.
And while Sprouse revealed in the same interview that he hadn’t seen his Friends co-stars since filming with them, he would be eager to reconnect. “It was a really wonderful experience. They were all extremely nice … If I saw any of them [again], I would say, ‘Hello’. “
