While players turned to social media to lament the fact that the servers were again having problems with Activision responding from its various support accounts to confirm that there is indeed an outage and that the problem is being investigated. THE Black Ops Cold War The problems started at noon on Tuesday at the last minute, prompting players to turn to social media for answers. The Activision support Twitter account that typically faces these types of issues has responded in the same way to acknowledge the disruption and redirect players to the server status page for various games that are under Activision’s jurisdiction. This page for Black Ops Cold War likewise recognizes the interruption and says it is affecting all platforms.

“We are currently experiencing connectivity issues,” says the message on Activision’s support page at 12:31 PM PST. “This incident is under investigation.”
As is the case with any of these types of interruptions, there is no way to tell now when the problem will be resolved, but the problems usually do not persist for long. The same server status page that carried the message above or the Activision support account mentioned above will likely be the best way to get more information, as details become available about when the problem or problems will be corrected.
In the meantime, you can get better acquainted with some future Call of Duty events while waiting for the servers to come online again. Most events on the horizon belong to Call of Duty: Warzone rather than Black Ops Cold War, however, with news of a zombie crossover dominating the Call of Duty communities last week or so. There must be some kind of zombie event taking place in War zone this will potentially bring about a cataclysmic explosion that will alter the map, but the details about that are relegated to teasers and alleged leaks, for now.
