CNN spends hours without covering new allegations of sexual harassment against Andrew Cuomo

CNN appears to be covering New York’s Democratic governor Andrew Cuomo by failing to cover sexual harassment charges brought against him by former government aide Lindsey Boylan.

Boylan, Cuomo’s former deputy secretary for economic development and special adviser, published a bombshell on Wednesday on the Medium website. She accused the governor of “going out of his way to touch me on the lower back, arms and legs”, forcibly kissing her on the lips during an individual meeting and suggesting that they “play strip poker” during an airplane trip.

Cuomo’s office denied Boylan’s allegations of harassment, calling them “simply false” and insisting that the strip poker comment “did not happen”.

Eight hours after Boylan filed his claims, CNN, the home network of Governor Chris Cuomo’s brother, made no mention of the allegations in his air or on CNN.com, according to Grabian’s transcripts and search results on the website from the Web.

MSNBC also skipped coverage of allegations of sexual harassment faced by the Democrat already in trouble.

MSNBC, however, offered brief coverage of the ongoing scandal in Cuomo nursing homes, reporting a new Marist survey that showed that 61% of New York voters believe that Cuomo did something wrong in dealing with health care facilities in Cuomo. during the coronavirus pandemic.

Neither CNN nor MSNBC responded to Fox News’s requests for comment.

MEGHAN MCCAIN PLAYS CHRIS CUOMO AND ‘GHOUL OF A BROTHER’ FOR CNN’S ‘COMEDY’ AMONG THE NURSING SCANDAL

CNN, along with “Cuomo Prime Time” anchor Chris Cuomo, made an unprecedented effort to minimize and deflect controversies surrounding the New York Democrat, with the far-left network giving rise to developments in the home scandal of elderly people with little or no time giving the governor’s anchor brother free rein to conduct friendly and comical interviews with the governor plagued by the scandal in the first months of the pandemic.

While the governor now faces charges of Boylan’s sexual harassment and intimidation, the CNN anchor once said in an interview in May that his brother was “single and ready to mingle”.

Governor Cuomo’s administration is reportedly under investigation by the FBI and the US Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn after critics accused authorities of covering up the true number of deaths in COVID nursing homes in the state. At the beginning of the pandemic, the governor ordered assisted health centers to accept COVID-positive patients in order to keep hospital beds free.
