INTENDED DISCUSSION:
The clouds remain this evening before a few light snow gusts will develop around midnight. Bursts of light will persist into the early hours of Sunday morning. Unfortunately, once the gusts subside, the clouds will still remain in place.
The main weather system this week, however, will be a low moving through the region from Monday to Tuesday. This system will bring significant snow to the region with the heaviest occurring on Tuesday morning until around noon. By the time everything is said and done, we could see snow figures almost double digits! We are looking for any subtle changes in this system, because that could bring the warmer air to the southern layer, which would bring down the total snow as more ice mixes.
There is also the potential for another thunderstorm from Thursday to Friday, but now it appears to be a mix of rain.
