Claudia ConwayThe audition for ‘American Idol’ judges finally aired … showing the teenager’s talent as well as her politically famous friends.
Conway was one of several singers singled out during the show’s debut on Sunday. Katy Perry was quick to ask the 16 year old “Are you okay?” as soon as she could. Claudia replied with “No, but, yes, I am very well.” She then sang a version of Rihanna“Love On The Brain”, which missed the mark with the judges before singing “When We Were Young” by Adele.

Eventually, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie each gave Claudia a “yes” … taking her to the next round.

Claudia was accompanied by her father, George Conway, for the audition, but his famous mother, Kellyanne, made a digital appearance thanks to Idol’s video card. Kellyanne celebrated Claudia’s golden ticket and told her daughter that she was proud of her.

Kellyanne’s relationship with her daughter has been the focus of much attention recently. TMZ revealed the story … police officers were called to the family home in New Jersey last month after Claudia posted a series of videos on TikTok of verbal fights with her mother.
At one point during Claudia’s test, Katy Perry offered Claudia some life advice, saying to her, “You have to calm the storm around you.”
