The civil case against actor Danny Masterson will be arbitrated by the Church of Scientology, according to new reports.
The lawsuit was initially opened in August 2019 by a woman named Chrissie Carnell Bixler, her husband Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Marie Bobette Riales, as well as two Jane Does alleging that they were harassed and harassed by members of the religious organization. Masterson is a well-known scientologist.
In the lawsuit, the plaintiffs allege that agents of the religious organization used means of intimidation after reporting the charges about Masterson to the authorities.
Citing court documents, People magazine reported that a judge ruled that civil complaints “should be resolved through ‘religious arbitration’ due to an existing arbitration agreement between the parties involved”.

The arbitration is scheduled to take place on June 30. Masterson’s lawyer did not immediately respond to Fox News’s request for comment on Saturday, but he told the magazine in a statement: “This was an absolutely correct result. We hope to arbitrate the claims, as the court ordered.”
The lawsuit includes allegations that Masterson sexually abused Bixler during his alleged relationship in 2001 and 2002. After making the charges, her husband claims that “defendants’ agents” poisoned his dogs, harassed them by phone and assaulted them using vehicles, they say.

A Jane Doe claims that she is a victim of property damage and threats as well, and the second unidentified plaintiff claimed that she was persecuted and her privacy was invaded.

Actor Danny Masterson has also been accused of raping women in a separate criminal case, which is ongoing.

The allegations made by Riales, however, do not fit the order of the judge because “she was not a member of the Church of Scientology”, the report states.
Earlier this year, Masteron spoke about the process through his lawyer.
“I will not fight my ex-girlfriend in the media as she has been teasing me for more than two years,” said Masterson through his lawyer. “I’m going to beat her up in court – and I’m looking forward to it, because the public will finally be able to find out the truth and see how I was hit by this woman. And as soon as her case is closed, I intend to sue her and others who joined the movement for damage they have done to me and my family. “
