City launches registration process for Covid-19 vaccine for El Pasoans ‘at risk’ as doses of Moderna arrive

EL PASO, Texas – Following word from local health officials that they planned to soon start vaccinating “populations at risk” for Covid-19, the city of El Paso launched a registration process on Thursday by simultaneously announcing the arrival 2,400 doses of Moderna vaccine.

The Texas Department of Health Services, on Wednesday night, informed city officials that they can use the latest doses of vaccine for both first responders and health personnel – as well as those 65 and older. or more, as well as individuals with chronic medical conditions.
