Cintas Center Pop-Up Mass Vax website opens Thursday: What you need to know

On Thursday, the first doses of a mass pop-up site for the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered at the Centro de Cintas.

Approximately 10,000 first doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered. Commissioner Denise Driehaus said that Governor Mike DeWine said the state will continue to increase the number of doses in Hamilton County in the coming weeks.

“So what it looks like through providers and more mass vax sites will happen here, but what we do know is that we will have more doses as we go and eligibility is opening up related to the number of doses that are happening to be available to us,” said Driehaus.

How and when you can sign up

Vaccines at Centro Cintas will be administered from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm until March 20. The site is being run by Kroger and you need an appointment. You can sign up for a consultation here and see who is currently eligible for the vaccine here. We discourage walk-ups.

The Metro will also provide free trips to the arena. According to the WCPO, all routes will offer free tours to the arena from Thursday until March 20. The free shuttle service will be from three bus stops near the main entrance of the Cintas Center. Bus stops are:

  • on Montgomery Road and Dana Avenue
  • on Woodburn and Dana avenues
  • in the C-2 parking lot at Xavier University and in the overflowing parking lot

The bus will run from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on three days.

The first doses will be given in the arena until March 20th, and about 10,000 second doses will be delivered from April 8th to 10th.
