And now the manufacturer advises you to call the police.
Jensen Karp, a comedian, writer, podcaster and ex-rapper, says he found two crustaceans that would have made his CTC even more crunchy.
“This is obviously a shrimp tail,” Karp told CNN. “I ate a bowl, spilled it and saw the shrimp. I had already eaten a full one.”
And so began the story of the shrimp that mesmerized the Internet, inspiring cereal models and Captain Crunch spreading shrimp in what was jokingly described as “clearly a case of corporate sabotage”.
Jensen sent a photo of the alleged shrimp to General Mills’ Twitter account.
The company offered to “replace the box”.
Sorry to see what you found! We would like to report this to our quality team and replace the box. Can you send us a DM to collect more details? Thanks!

“I definitely don’t want another cereal,” said Karp.
Then the company said, “It appears to be an accumulation of cinnamon and sugar that can sometimes occur when the ingredients are not well mixed.”
After further investigation with our team who closely examined the image, it appears to be an accumulation of cinnamon sugar that can sometimes occur when the ingredients are not well mixed. We guarantee that there is no possibility of cross contamination with shrimp.

“Which is crazy,” said Karp.
He wrote back, “OK, after further investigation with my eyes, these are cinnamon-coated shrimp tails, you freaks.”
General Mills then asked Karp to send the alleged shrimp tails in a prepaid and addressed envelope that they would send to him.
They then asked him to ship the shrimp via FedEx.
I intend to continue with total transparency for those who care about their products. This is the first time I’ve heard from them since yesterday (when they said they were sending an envelope) and my new reply. pic.twitter.com/EYugRvLbtC

Someone even offered an anatomical analysis of the shrimp’s body parts.
Hey, I study crustaceans at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles, they look a little bit like the tones and uropods of a tailed shrimp. I would love to look at your “specimen” under a microscope, we may even be able to extract DNA to confirm your species or if it’s even cinnamon sugar

And then Karp noticed a black substance roasted in some flakes.
Really – someone told me that they are not like worms or insects. Is it adjacent shrimp? (Did you just find this strange cinnamon-covered pea thing?)

“It got more disgusting. I ate whatever was in those squares. I have to take the test,” said Karp.
General Mills issued a statement saying, “We can safely say that this did not happen at our facility.”
They also sent an email to Karp saying, “If you don’t want to send the cereal items and packages to us, please provide these items to the local authorities.”
Karp said he bought a package of two at Costco and without even opening the second, he and his wife, ‘Boy Meets World’ star Danielle Fischel, who played Topanga Lawrence, found what appears to be dental floss.
UPDATE: My wife has a stronger stomach than me and I checked the OTHER bag in the family backpack. This one appears glued with duct tape (?) And it also seems to include … (I don’t mean to say) … dental floss. pic.twitter.com/yKPkpx7PWq

Karp said it is possible that the second package was sealed with tape at the bottom, but he cannot say.
Costco did not respond to CNN.
“It’s a drag because Cinnamon Toast Crunch is literally the only cereal I eat. It’s my favorite since I was a kid,” said Karp.
I am happy to report: a carcinologist (crustacean researcher) working at NHMLA will morphologically identify the shrimp using microscopy and will work with a team of researchers to use DNA to try to identify the putative shrimp in species. IS HAPPENING.

The Los Angeles podcaster and comedian even has a Cinnamon Toast Crunch T-shirt.
Some remembered the scene in “Forrest Gump”, where Bubba lists all types of shrimp: “There are pineapple shrimp and lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp …”
And now, supposedly, Cinnamon Toast Crunch shrimp.
I would cut my mouth if I were you.
