And the 35-year-old singer lovingly informed her Instagram afterwards that she met the 32-year-old Seattle Seahawks star ‘this very day’, six years ago.

In a five-minute excerpt from the interview, shared on Ciara’s Instagram, the couple discussed songs that remind them of each other, as well as special moments in the relationship.
Ciara noted that she especially likes the song September by Earth, Wind, And Fire because it reminds her of her 2016 nuptials, at which the band performed.
‘I remember at the wedding dancing this song while they sang it,’ she recalled, before Russell shared a song close to his heart.

“Always And Forever by Heatwave because when we started talking and went out together and everything, you always talked about that song and I, too, always used to sing it,” explained the soccer star.
In a particularly cute moment, Wilson called Ciara’s song Level Up as a song he associates with their relationship.
‘The reason this song is so particular, and it makes me think of you, is because I think about the dance and how the dance was iconic,’ he gushed.
He revealed that Ciara was ‘eight months pregnant’ with her first child together, daughter Sienna, when she wrote the lyrics, emphasizing that ‘no one works as hard as you do’.
