Chuck Norris talks about US Capitol riot after actor-like photo goes viral

Chuck Norris is talking about last week’s mortal riot at the US Capitol after a photo of a man in DC looking like the actor started to be a trend online.

“It wasn’t me and I wasn’t there,” Norris tweeted Tuesday night. “There is no room for violence of any kind in our society. I am and always will be by Law and Order.”

“Chuck is still on the field in Texas, where he was with his family,” Norris manager Erik Kritzer told the Associated Press. He acknowledged that the man photographed looked a bit like Norris, but “Chuck is much more handsome”.

At least one observer had already noticed that the man portrayed in DC had a different eye color than the famous actor.

“I don’t think it’s him,” read the tweet. “Chuck Norris has blue eyes, this guy has dark brown eyes.”

“Walker, Texas Ranger”, in which Norris played the law enforcement kicker in Karate Cordell Walker, served on CBS from 1993 to 2001. In 2016, he announced his support for President Donald Trump.
