Chrome OS 89 features: practical and step-by-step [VIDEO]

Chrome OS 89 is here and available to most Chromebook users, so we’d like to take a few minutes and look at all the notable additions to the operating system this time. In the history of Chrome OS versions, I can think of a few that have been released with so many new tricks and updates. There are so many offers with Chrome OS 89 that we’d like to spend a few days using all the new features as they appear on the Stable Channel and putting together a quick video highlighting each of the new and fun ways to use your Chromebook.

From screen recording for media controls for the phone hub, Chrome OS 89 seems to be the culmination of many months of additions, tests and work to make Chromebooks much more capable and easier to use. Gabriel has already posted a summary of all the news on offer, so if you want to read a list and dig a little deeper into each new feature, go to his post. For this post, we just wanted to test all of these features and show them to you on video. We know that sometimes these ads happen and really great features are simply overlooked and underused. When you see them on the screen, we hope you’re very interested and try each of these new additions on your own Chromebook.

Finally, I would also like to point out that, as part of this launch that coincides with the 10th anniversary celebration of Chrome OS, we have partnered with Google to distribute 20 limited edition Chromebook covers and 20 exclusive sticker packs. We have already reached the first 5 donations and will continue to distribute 5 covers and sticker packs to 5 lucky winners every week until they disappear. If you haven’t already, sign up to win using the big button below and good luck!
