Watch: Zack Snyder’s Justice League trailer
Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder’s wife, producer Deborah Snyder, told the Justice League director does not go to see the final version of the film by Joss Whedon.
According to a new report on Vanity Fair, the duo told him that the end result would ‘break your heart’.
Snyder had to move away from finishing the film during the post-production period, after the tragic death of the couple’s daughter.
Avengers, onward director Joss Whedon then took over, but embarked on his own remakes of the film before releasing it a few months later.

The result was criticized by critics and performed poorly at the box office, and Whedon has since been accused of abusive behavior on the set of the film, mainly by Cyborg actor Ray Fisher.
In the Vanity Fair report, Deborah Snyder reveals that she went to an early screening of the finished film with Christopher Nolan, who was producer of Steel man, and an executive producer in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
“It was just … it’s a strange experience,” said Snyder. “I don’t know how many people have this experience. You worked on something for a long time and then you go away and see what happened. “
Zack Snyder, also interviewed for the article, continues: “They came and just said, ‘You can never see this film.'”
Deborah Snyder then adds: “Because I knew it would break his heart”.

Now running in four hours and rated R, it is scheduled to launch on HBO Max in the United States on March 18.
