Christina Anstead has no problem defending herself, joining Instagram shortly after followers choose to embarrass the star for her weight.
The HGTV star sent a selfie on Friday of herself wearing a black Chanel sweater, dark jeans and Gucci boots, with the photo caption: “My favorite black on black on black 🖤 #johnnycashvibes costume.”
While the majority of fans praised the look, others took charge of commenting on its shape, calling the future divorcee “sad and thin”.
Another asked “Are you okay, Christina?”
Unsolicited criticism prompted Anstead to join Instagram Live hours later to address the public.
“So people are saying that I look a lot thinner and I need to eat,” she started. “This is really the way I have always weighed. You just saw me having babies and then go back to my original weight, ”said the mother of three. “So do not worry. It’s all right.”
She also added in her caption: “Relax people – I eat and eat healthy”.
Anstead filed for divorce from “Wheeler Dealers” star Ant Anstead last November, just two months after announcing her separation.
Since the separation, Anstead has channeled his energy into health and well-being and bought a yacht called Aftermath, while Ant was “devastated” by the separation and lost more than 10 pounds in a “separation recovery” program.
