Christie revealed her surgery news on Instagram earlier this month after a successful procedure, writing: ‘I hurt my hip in a helicopter accident on a mountain in Telluride, many years ago.
“The hip pain got a little worse every year. 12 years ago, I was told I needed to be replaced, but the surgery was scary! And I had things to do! ‘
