Chris Prattthere has been a tendency to post terribly prejudiced tweets before his days in the Marvel Universe, but he says the reaction is unjustified … because the tweets are fake.
A spokesman for the star “Guardians of the Galaxy” told TMZ … that he never posted the offensive messages that started circulating on Wednesday morning. They seemed to be from 2012 and 2013, with one saying “calling another n *** aa ‘n **** r’ is hilarious idc” … and the other “Muslims scare me so much”.
You can see why fans would be upset, but the Pratt representative says, “Chris never tweeted the offensive things that are circulating today. Any suggestion that he did is not only totally false, but also defamatory.”
Twitter, where fake tweets have been trending all day, was also suspect, and a senior executive at the platform said they “strongly believe that [tweets] be false. “

There were 2 other tweets circulating, but they were relatively innocuous jokes. The Pratt representative confirms that one of them – suggesting that all Miss America participants are super skinny – is real.
Not at all avant-garde humor, but you can still see it in Chris’s timeline. His field says there was no exclusion of tweets – offensive ones never existed … until someone else invented them.
