Chloe Bennet revealed that she tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday after waking up on Christmas morning with ‘a high fever and unable to breathe’.

As 28-year-old SHIELD agents announced their diagnosis via Instagram Story, she noted that several of her relatives are also battling the virus.

‘I auditioned and I’m positive for COVID-19 … it was a tough week, to say the least. Several members of my family are also infected, we have all been fighting together. We’re not clear yet, but now we’re going … well, ‘she revealed.

She continued: ‘I am sharing this because I want to repeat it to anyone who is not yet taking the covid seriously, please, please, do this. Covid sucks. It really sucks. I am proud to stay healthy, I always used a mask, I distanced myself socially, I took all the necessary care and I was still VERY sick. ‘

Despite enduring severe symptoms and exhaustion, she reminded her more than 2.6 million followers that she is ‘one of the lucky ones’.
