Charlie Worsham and wife Kristen welcome their first child together: ‘Easter is early for our family this year’
Charlie Worsham and wife Kristen announced that they received their first child together, son Gabriel Thomas Worsham, on Sunday.
“Easter came early for our family this year,” said artist Could It Be, 35, in a caption to an Instagram post in which he showed his newborn son.
The 35-year-old country singer wrote: ‘Welcome young Gabriel Thomas Worsham, 6 pounds and 11 ounces of pure and miraculous love, born on Thursday, April 1, at 3:38 pm, with the soundtrack by Sinners Like Me Gabe is sweet and peaceful and strong, like your mother.

He continued: Both are doing very well and I am a jumble of overwhelming love, joy and pride. ‘
On her Instagram, the new mother Kristen posted a photo of her newborn, writing, ‘Gabriel Thomas Worsham entered this world on April 1st weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces. He has a head full of hair, soft cheeks and a sweeter soul … he is heaven on earth! ‘
The Granada, Mississippi, singer last fall said publicly that he and Kristen were going to have a baby on an Instagram post in a music video set in the music by Keith Urban Wasted Time, in which he shuffled a series of letters.
The letters said: ‘Anyway … do you want to hear something crazy? Well … there is a new project that we are very excited about, ‘leading to an animated clip of the stork leaving a baby for them. ‘What about this ?!’

In her post, Kristen wrote, ‘Baby on the horizon! Baby Worsham, arriving in April 2021 … Charlie and I are in the clouds! ‘
He told People after the announcement: ‘History books can define 2020 by division and struggle, but for us it was a year that gave Kristen and me the gift of spending more time together than ever before. And by far, the biggest gift of 2020 was the news of our new arrival in the spring of 2021. ‘
He noted that his travel schedule was reduced as a result of the pandemic, allowing him to stay with his wife during pregnancy.
“If this had happened in any other year, it is likely that I would not be around very much to witness this miracle,” he said. ‘Kristen is entering her new role with grace and beauty, and I am very happy to embark on this adventure with her.
“The season that follows will be the sweetest and most important of our lives, and we couldn’t be more excited.”
