Charlie Cox from Daredevil allegedly seen in Set of Spider-Man 3!
After some exciting news, it was reported last month that Netflix Reckless star Charlie Cox signed a contract to reprise the role of the untitled third, led by Tom Holland Spider man movie, ComicBook.com has now brought the news that the 38 year old British actor was located on the set!

Cox’s cast came on the heels of rumors that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were working to return to the world of webslinging, with the former still in talks, as well as Kirsten Dunst’s Mary-Jane Watson and Jamie Foxx’s Electro Doctor Octopus and Alfred Molina from both franchises and the latest news comes following Kevin Feige, Marvel’s boss, addressing that all Marvel characters from the Netflix world are now at stake to reach the big screen.
Although the villains have been confirmed for the film, reports are still going back and forth about whether any of the former Spider-Men has been confirmed and the chances of no confirmation will be given by Marvel Studios until production closes on the project.

Cox’s Reckless was the first Marvel Cinematic Universe series on Netflix and helped pave the way for spin-offs Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and The punisher, the first three of which culminated in the limited crossover series The defenders. The series received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike throughout its three-season series and fans were initially disappointed when the streaming platform canceled the series, but both Netflix and Marvel Studios promised that the character would be seen in future projects MCU and Cox continually expressed sadness at the cancellation and a desire to repeat the role. The entire Netflix series had loose ties to the cinematic MCU, so its appearance in the film would not need much explanation.
Tom Holland will return to third untitled Spider man film as the wall-crawler holder alongside Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, going against Jamie Foxx’s Electro. Given the end of Far from homeHowever, many members of their rogues’ gallery are also likely to be looking forward to a fight. The third installment for the MCU Spider man films will also feature the return of Zendaya (Euphoria, Dune) as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned.
While most of the cast from the original series is expected to return to the trio, the Foxx cast further confuses the lines of Sony’s three franchises, with the previous edition bringing back JK Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson from the Sam Raimi trilogy and Sony from the Marvel Universe studio of characters led by Poison expected to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe series soon.

Originally scheduled for release on July 16, 2021, the untitled Spider-Man 3 was first postponed to November 5 and will now be released on December 17, 2021.
