CNN—Where King presented a program for 25 years – was the first to report the news, saying that King “was hospitalized at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for more than a week,” according to a source. “Due to hospital protocols, King’s three children were unable to visit him.” King is what experts call “high risk” because of medical problems like diabetes and a history of lung cancer and heart attacks. You may remember King’s fellow talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, who described “severe” back pain. “One thing they don’t say is that you have, in some way, terrible back pain,” said the talk show host in the video. “I didn’t know it was a symptom, but I talked to other people – back pain.”
