Actress Kristy Swanson said if Donald Trump is removed from John Hughes’ home Alone at home 2 so she wants to be removed from Beautiful in pink and Ferris Bueller’s day off.
Swanson used Twitter in defense of the president who is stepping down, stating: “If Cancel Culture will really remove Donald J Trump from the John Hughes film Alone at home, so in support of MY PRESIDENT, I would like to be officially removed from the John Hughes films Beautiful in pink and Ferris Buhler’s day off [sic]. “
The 51-year-old appeared in a small speechless role at the end of Beautiful in pink and gave a brief speech in the classroom in Ferris Bueller’s day off.
Several users and celebrities were quick to point out that the roles that Swanson played in both iconic films were much smaller.
“I’m sorry. Who are you?” answered Joy star Jane Lynch, while Rosanna Arquette simply replied, “So do we.”
Community actress Yvette Nicole Brown – who played Shirley on the hit sitcom – added: “Have you been in these films?” In a later post, Brown wrote: “Your resume is not important. What it is, is that she is still supporting a guy who incited a Klan riot where six people died on the spot or a day later – one by his own hand.
