Celebrities react to the death of Bond Girl Tanya Roberts at age 65

In the wake of the death of actress Tanya Roberts of “James Bond” and “That 70s Show”, many celebrities turned to social media to praise the deceased star.

The actress’ aide, Mike Pingel, confirmed the news of her death on social media on Monday.

“I am very sad to have to post this. Yes, Tanya passed away today. I am heartbroken,” said a post on his official Facebook fan page attributed to his publicist. She was 65 years old.

Roberts has been hospitalized since December 24, after he passed out while walking his dogs, Pingel told The Hollywood Reporter. His death was not related to COVID-19, the reports say. She was seen conducting live chats with fans recently, on December 19, and said she was in good health.

The actress appeared on “Charlie’s Angels” in 1980 before starring alongside Roger Moore as a Bond girl in the 1985 film, “A View to a Kill”. However, she was perhaps best known for her role as Midge Pinciotti, Donna Pinciotti’s mother on the hit sitcom “That 70s Show”.

After his death, a handful of his former castmates and other celebrities accessed Twitter to share his thoughts on Roberts’ death.

“Sad to hear of Tanya Roberts’ death – she was full of life, enthusiasm, unfiltered, sense of humor, intelligence and a beauty – Prayers for the family – that she RIP,” actor Robert Davi wrote.

“Tanya Roberts. An absolute, gentle and fun jewel. RIP, lovely lady,” wrote actress Chase Masterson.

Rosanna Arquette tweeted a simple one: “Tanya Roberts Rest In Peace.”

“Very sad to hear that,” wrote actor Robert Patrick.

Meanwhile, two of Roberts’ co-stars on “That 70s Show” were among the first to praise her on social media.

“I was very sad to hear that Tanya Roberts passed away. She was a Bond girl, one of Charlie’s Angels, and a truly charming person to work with. I had never acted before and, to be honest, a little nervous around her. But she couldn’t have been nicer. We will miss you, Midge, ” wrote Topher Grace.

Danny Masterson, who is currently in trouble in a civil and criminal case, also logged on to Twitter to say goodbye to his co-star.

“We missed a big one. Rip #tanyaroberts, you were a wonderful person to work with and we all love you very much. Godspeed,” he wrote on Instagram along with a photo montage of Roberts from the show.
