THE Pokémon The franchise is turning 25 this year and, to celebrate, the brand is teaming up for a series of collaborations, from McDonald’s cards to Post Malone shows. And then there’s Levi’s, which is celebrating its anniversary with a line of Pokémon– branded clothing, led by the prominent floral print Pokémon– denim jacket / denim jacket combination in what may be the best example of Canadian tuxedo ever made.
The flashy costume is available separately: a $ 128 trucker jacket and a $ 148 pair of jeans, both with a … unique print of several Pokémon characters entering and leaving a floral garden motif. And while Levi’s showcases its models shaking half the set (probably as a standout for more restrained clothing), it’s clear that the only real way to style the clothes is to bet everything on the look.

The floral looks are, admittedly, the most daring of the collaboration. Most of Levi’s x Pokémon’s downfall is pretty prosaic in comparison: t-shirts and jeans adorned with characters from the show, a set of shorts and a yellow top that is a pair of red suspenders far from a Misty cosplay, and a Beanie in knitted with Pikachu ears. (There is also an option to get some laser engraved Pokémon patterns on regular Levi’s jeans for those who prefer a more subtle design.)
The new Levi’s merchandise seems to be the best way to dress Pokémon love up your sleeve – that is, if you don’t count the human-sized Metapod sleeping bag.
