CD Projekt Red collective action ‘Cyberpunk 2077’

After its founders lost an astonishing $ 1 billion dollars as stock prices fell, CD Projekt Red now faces another challenge as a result of its failure Cyberpunk 2077 launch: collective action by investors.

The new lawsuit is the second in a series of possible lawsuits against the video game developer brought by company investors who claim that CD Projekt Red deceived them by launching Cyberpunk 2077 and consequently led them to incur significant damages, violating federal laws. Shareholders are now inviting more people to join the lawsuit, which was filed earlier this week in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. The company itself has made no official comment on the new legal procedures, except declaring that “The Company will take vigorous measures to defend itself against such claims”. Meanwhile, the developer is also working hard to update the game to a more playable state on all platforms and to re-list it on PlayStation Store.

Elsewhere in the game, Apex Legends is presenting its 16th Legend for the next eighth season of the game.
