CD Projekt apologizes for the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 and shows the roadmap for 2021

The launch of Cyberpunk 2077 was practically noticed by everyone. Some are better with bugs and performance, others are incredibly agitated. Yesterday, CD Projekt issued a statement apologizing and showing its plans for the game in 2021.

Marcin Iwinski, the co-founder of CD Projekt, explained in a short 5-minute video that the main culprit behind the chaotic launch of Cyberpunk 2077 was having to work from home, which made it very difficult to improve the version for previous generation consoles. Basically, they are blaming COVID-19. I mean, approximately 9 years of development time has been used for Cyberpunk 2077.

It is indicated that they never imagined being in this mess and that something similar was unlikely to happen. That said, he ensured that they are doing everything possible to correct the error and fix the game.

According to a script, none of the plans have changed, and is that patches 1.1 and 1.2 remain in mind for the next few weeks, in order to be able to release the first free DLCs soon after and, in the last phase of the year, bring the version next generation for the new consoles. The latter will be done together with new patches that will arrive in the coming months.
