ITHACA, NY – Cayuga Health announced on December 31 that it will open two more COVID-19 test facilities on Monday, January 4, in Ithaca and Cortland.
Additional sites are being opened to support increased demand for testing in the area. Both will conduct saliva-based tests, which stores at Shopping Ithaca’s sampling site recently changed from a deep-nose swab, which had been in place for months.
Ithaca’s new location will be at Cayuga Medical Center, near the hospital’s back entrance, while the Cortland facility will be located at Gutchess Park in Cortlandville. Both venues will be open from 9am to 1pm during the week. Appointments are still required to take the test and can be booked at www.cayugahealth.org.
