Casey Affleck talked about his brother Ben Affleck breaking up with Ana de Armas and confirmed that he was not the mysterious man who was seen throwing away the actress’s cardboard cutouts.
“No, that’s not me, and I can’t even say if they totally broke up forever or something. I would leave it up to them to talk, ”Casey, 45, told Entertainment Tonight.
“A lot of people sent me that picture and I was going to tweet some, like, joke, answer or something. And then I couldn’t think of any and a joke didn’t seem appropriate. And I don’t have Twitter, so it wouldn’t work. But it definitely wasn’t me. “
Photos of two men wearing masks and hats throwing out clippings went viral shortly after news that Ben, 48, and de Armas, 32, had split up after nearly a year of dating.
A source told Page Six that the ex-couple ended up having children; The star of “The Way Back” could not commit to having children with the actress from “Knives Out”, who is in her 30s and thinks this is a “business break”.
Casey, however, is not concerned with De Armas after the heartbreak.
“And I think Ana is the sweetest, funniest, smartest and most charming person,” he shared. “I think she will have no problem getting to know someone else.”
Of course, he will be there to support your brother during his time of trial.
“I think she is a prank in every way. And I’ll be there to carry Ben, but I don’t think he’ll be in trouble [either], ”Casey added. “My advice to them would be: ‘Yes, think about it a lot, because quarantine is not fun if you’re single.'”
