Carson Wentz refuses exit interview to media amid trade rumors

Carson Wentz has been involved in trade rumors for weeks and on Monday after the Eagles completed their exit interviews, the Philadelphia franchise quarterback refused to speak to the media.

Wentz has been the subject of reports for the past two Sundays in the NFL and this week Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen reported that the Eagles star would like to move on.

On Monday, Doug Pederson talked about his relationship with the Eagles franchise quarterback, telling reporters he was “good” and professional.

Wentz was a healthy scratch on Sunday, while quarterback Jalen Hurts made his fourth consecutive start at the end of the season.

Several teams are expected to be interested in negotiating for Wentz, with the Colts as favorites, thanks to Frank Reich, who was Wentz’s offensive coordinator in Philadelphia.
