Carson Wentz’s fights and bizarre moves during the 2020 season were detailed in a new report on Saturday.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that, as the Philadelphia Eagles’ general manager, Howie Roseman, was believed to be the biggest fan of Wentz, the defender received “too much rein” before being able to prove anything on the pitch, whether during the regular season or in the playoffs.

Following the Eagles’ victory in the Super Bowl during the 2017 season, Eagles leaders treated Wentz as if he were the reason why Philadelphia won the Super Bowl and began to receive their opinions on draft decisions, free agent and coach. According to the Inquirer, Wentz had been on a regression path for years and he “did not always accept” hard training and “struggled with responsibility”. Sources told the newspaper that Wentz “rejected the advice” and “clashed” with former coach Doug Pederson.
The reported fracture of the relationship between Wentz and Pederson may have been seen miles away and before he was transferred to Jalen Hurts in week 13. The Inquirer reported, citing sources, that Wentz “occasionally killed him for no other reason than his personal aversion. “

Another source told the newspaper that Wentz was going to “bizarre deaths that didn’t make sense and were actually becoming dishonest.”
“He doesn’t understand that he lost games to us,” a veteran Eagles player told the Inquirer anonymously. “He will never admit it and that is a problem because he cannot correct it.”
In the end, Roseman admitted before the season that the team was “married” to Wentz. The quarterback did not play in the final games of the season and was not active in the case of Week 17, in which Pederson was criticized for playing Nate Sudfeld in the game in the last four attempts.

He has 16,811 passing yards and 113 touchdowns in 68 career games with the Eagles. He had 16 touchdown passes, 2,620 passing yards and 15 league leading interceptions in just 12 games in 2020.
