Caroline Manzo believes that there is almost too much drama between Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschneider in this season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”.
The “Manzo’d With Children” star weighed in on the ongoing rivalry of reality stars, which originated from Giudice claiming that Goldschneider’s husband was cheating on her and Goldschneider then saying that the rumor in the case would be like her spreading lies that Gia Giudice was making “cocaine in the bathroom.”
“I don’t know what I would have [Teresa] to say something like that. I don’t care how much you don’t like someone, ”Manzo, who left“ RHONJ ”after Season 5 aired in 2013, told Us Weekly.
Page Six reported exclusively in February that Teresa invented the rumor for fear of being kicked out of the Bravo program for not having enough drama.
“She is being watched by the network and needed a story to handle the pan. She had zero evidence [that he cheated] and made up the story because Bravo is getting rid of the original ‘housewives’, ”said a source at the time. “[She’s] very expensive and they can filter for different women. She is trying desperately to be relevant. “
But his lawyer, James Leonard Jr., said that Teresa was always “real and authentic”.
Manzo, 59, said it is “possible” that producers have encouraged rivalry, but said “two mistakes don’t make one right” and acknowledged that Goldschneider is also not innocent.
“There are many analogies that you could have chosen without bringing [Teresa’s 20-year-old daughter] Gia for that. Gia – from what I’ve seen and what I know about that boy, historically – is a great child. She is wise beyond her age, ”said the author of“ Let Me Tell You Something ”.
“Why would you come back with something like that for someone who is not there to defend themselves, for someone who is not involved in anything and for someone who is only 20 years old.”
Jackie, 44, later admitted that he had never heard of Gia using cocaine and was simply making an analogy.
“She’s a great girl, so it was just an analogy and I never wanted to hurt anyone,” she said.
