Capcom reveals the first image of Oro in the game in Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition, Season 5

Earlier this morning, Capcom unveiled the first image of Oro in Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition Season 5. Oro is currently scheduled to be released in the summer of 2021, after Rose, which will be released in the spring of 2021.

In the screenshot, Oro’s mustard-yellow complexion is clearly seen on his wrinkled forehead. Your eyes also emit a red glow. If we still didn’t know who Oro was, we would probably be led to think that Oro was a villainous character based on red eyes.

Oro must be using some kind of theme that makes him balance a turtle with one hand. In Street Fighter 3, Oro was known for fighting with a tied hand as a way of restraining himself. Instead, he will be holding and balancing a turtle in Street Fighter 5.

Of course, we have already seen how Oro will cause the turtle to levitate briefly by activating the Tengu Stone. Based on the sound effects that played during Oro’s sneak peek that played at the end of the winter update flow, we believe that Tengu Stone is one of Oro’s V-Triggers.

Notably, the turtle in question can be seen sitting on top of Oro’s head in Capcom’s new screenshot. Of course, all we can see of the turtle is its legs. Since Oro should be holding the turtle during the game, it looks like this could be Oro’s intro animation in Street Fighter 5.

Unfortunately, the screenshot was cut off in Oro’s mouth. However, it is clear that Oro has a gigantic nose and extremely large ears. This makes sense, considering that he is a 140 year old hermit and as his ears and nose are the only parts of the human body that never stop growing.

More information about Oro (and Rose) is expected to be released during the Spring Update stream, which will be broadcast tomorrow, April 6. As always, we will cover you as the news arrives tomorrow.
