Cambria Hotels continues its rapid expansion across the country with the opening of its sixth hotel in South Carolina.
The six-story, 110-room Cambria Hotel Rock Hill – University Center brings together properties in Charleston, Fort Mill, Greenville, Mount Pleasant and Summerville.
The Cambria Hotel Rock Hill – University Center is among the four hotels opened in the first quarter of 2021 for the brand, in addition to hotels in Orlando, Florida; Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida, opened in January; and Washington, DC, which opened last week.
The Cambria Hotel Rock Hill – University Center is located on 354 Technology Center Way in Rock Hill, South Carolina. A cornerstone of the development of the new University Center Knowledge Park, the hotel connects Winthrop University to the cultural heart of the historic Rock Hill neighborhood , which includes restaurants, retailers, stores and historic sites. In addition, the property is located next to the new Rock Hill Sports & Events Center and is a short drive from York Technical College, the South Carolina National Guard Training Center, the NFL’s billion-dollar Carolina Panthers headquarters and the training facility project, Rock Hill BMX Supercross Track and the city of Charlotte, where guests can find a variety of exciting dining, nightlife and entertainment options.
