MYRTLE BEACH, SC (CBS) – Competitive juices seem to be flowing for Cam Newton, even in the off-season.
A clip went viral on Sunday, showing Cam Newton exchanging words with a young man at a youth soccer tournament.

The video appears to be from a 7 against 7 tournament in South Carolina, where Newton’s C1N team was playing.

In the clip, a teenager can be heard shouting to Newton “You are a free agent!” and describing the quarterback as “um–.”
Newton, a free agent after spending a season with the Patriots, replies “I’m rich” and asks where the boy’s parents are.

As for the future of the quarterback in the NFL, it is not clear whether a return to the Patriots is in the works. ESPN’s Mike Reiss said recently that he would not rule out a return to New England.
