Call of Duty: Warzone players are fed up with being deceived by an apparently dark outfit for Operator Roze.
Back in the 5th season of Call of Duty: Warzone, a reward for reaching Battle Pass level 100 was the ‘Rook’ skin for Operator Roze. This skin gave the character a dark and elegant color, which means that they were particularly difficult to distinguish from the surrounding scenery when fighting them in the darker areas of the War Zone map.
Roze’s Rook skin has always been an annoyance for the Warzone community, but now it seems that the community is expressing its complaints against those who use the skin. The post below on the Warzone subreddit shows a player eliminating an entire team using Roze’s Rook skin.
There is nothing more satisfying than putting a team full of Rose skins in their place … 🙂 from r / CODWarzone
Beneath that post are a lot of players talking about how they find Roze’s skin irritating to play against. Throughout the subreddit, in fact, it appears that players are purposefully looking for those who wear the skin of the Tower in the game, with the express purpose of eliminating them as quickly as possible.
It’s easy to see why the Warzone community is frustrated with the Operator’s outfit. I’ve seen countless clips of players using the Roze skin to blend in with the surrounding scene over the past few months, since the skin was first introduced.
Will Activision publisher or developer Raven Software remove the Warzone skin? It is incredibly unlikely, given the fact that it was the most sought-after reward at one point in the game. Fortunately, there is no current way for newcomers to the War Zone to gain skin, so at least we are safe from new trolls who come across Torre’s outfit.
