Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War / Warzone Adds New Operator This Week

It’s a new week and that means Activision is an invigorating Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and the Battle Royale Warzone game. Activision reviewed all changes and updates in a blog post, and we are mentioning the main points here.

New carrier packages and other stores

The game store welcomes new content this week, the most notable of which is a new Operator. Samantha Maxis will be available for purchase from March 4th. It also comes with two weapon plants, the Ultra-rate Z-74u SMG and the legendary Neutralizer shotgun.

On March 7, the Anime Pilot package arrives at the game store. This includes three weapon plants, all of the Legendary variety. This includes the Fly Boy SMG, the Talon Envy tactical rifle and the Strafe Run semi-automatic shotgun.

Then, on March 9, Activision will bring the Gilded Age III: Pro Pack to the store. It includes two legendary weapon designs – carbon composite and carbon steel – along with 2,400 service call points.

All of these packages are available for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

Playlists

In Black Ops Cold War, a new playlist called Rapid Fire Moshpit is on the way. This playlist includes Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint on the smaller maps of Black Ops Cold War (Apocalypse, Nuketown ’84, Crossroads Strike, Raid, Express and Garrison).

The rules for each type of game have changed to keep things frantic. The radar will be constantly scanning so that no one can hide and the Ghost privilege is disabled, also so that no one can hide. In addition, Activision has shortened the time between matches to increase the pace.

Elsewhere, the Gun Game’s playlist remains in rotation, as does Apocalypse 24/7 so that players can experience the newly introduced map that came to Black Ops Cold War in season two. The playlists featured this week remain the same: Nuketown 24/7 and Se faced.

Free week rolling

Activision Free Access Week for Black Ops Cold War and Zombies Outbreak mode is still available until March 4. This event started on February 25th together with the start of the 2nd season.

Activision’s blog post did not mention any changes to the playlist or other tweaks to Warzone this week, but if more details become available, we will return with all the information.
