Call of Duty 2021 Leaker apparently debunks World War 3 rumor

There is certainly a lot of speculation at the moment regarding Call of Duty: 2021. Interestingly, rumors on Twitter have started to emerge and may restrict the type of game we can expect.

We don’t have all the answers, but the rumors circulating on Twitter about COD 2021 are an interesting read. What kind of game can we expect? Who’s doing this? When and where will it happen?

We may have already found the answer to one of these questions. Regarding who is developing it, Sledgehammer Games possibly sparked COD 2021 on Twitter.

If you follow Call of Duty extensively, Sledgehammer Games is the developers behind Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: WWII.

If you were a fan of these games, you may want to hold your breath, as a leak indicates that World War 3 will not be the next game in the series …

Call of Duty 2021: Speculation and Claims

A new internal rumor from COD 2021 is circulating, stating that the game will not be set during the fictional World War 3.

Many COD fans are eager to see a return to Advanced Warfare, despite being a very polarizing game.

Some players believe that COD 2021 would be a spiritual sequel to Advanced Warfare, and would probably be set in a fictional future.

A notable Call of Duty source called ModernWarzone tweeted it is, noting that it is just speculation:

ModernWarzone notes that they “heard nothing” about the rumor. However, this does not mean that it cannot be completely discarded.

The recent Sledgehammer Games tweet, formulated in an ambiguous way, may indicate that the company is working to produce COD 2021. However, if it is, it may not be taking players where they expect …

COD 2021: WW3 rumor unmasked?

Tom Henderson, a trickster who has proven to be reliable in the past with holes and information from Call of Duty, weighed in and possibly debunked this theory.

Responding to a user’s tweet, Henderson simply responded with this message:

This may seem like a pretty confident answer, or it may have no substance, like the Call of Duty 2021 rumors at the moment.

Currently, there has been no update from Activision and its partner companies on this rumor and the speculations it has generated.

This is unlikely to change, as Activision will want to keep its cards close to the chest.

However, we will continue to update fans with news about COD 2021 in the future.

In the meantime, you may want to enjoy some pre-existing Call of Duty titles.

If you’re a Battle Royale player, you may be feeling a little irritated by Warzone’s DMR 14 right now.

With its recent additions, it looks like the Battle Royale game mode is experiencing some serious problems. Many fans are feeling that in their current state Call of Duty: Warzone is broken and it is boring players.

There are other Call of Duty titles to be enjoyed, however. If you’re playing Black Ops: Cold War, you’ll be happy to know that Search & Destroy is getting your final camera back.

Whichever Call of Duty title you like, you can be sure that there will be many more additions to the growing series in the future. We can only wait for what awaits us.
