‘Buffy’ star Michelle Trachtenberg reveals that there was a ‘rule’ that Joss Whedon couldn’t be alone with her

Michelle Trachtenberg is revealing more information about her time working on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” with creator Joss Whedon.

The 35-year-old actress, who played Dawn Summers from 2000 to 2003, said on social media on Thursday that Whedon was not allowed to be alone with her on set.

“The last one. I’ll comment on that. It was. There was a rule. Saying. He’s not allowed to be alone with Michelle again,” she claimed.

She gave no further details on why or who enacted the rule. Whedon’s representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News’s request for comment.

She was referring to Gellar’s statement on Wednesday about the toxic workplace and the allegation of misconduct against the writer / director / producer.

“Although I’m proud to have my name associated with Buffy Summers, I don’t want to be associated with the name Joss Whedon forever,” wrote Gellar, 43, via Instagram on Wednesday. “I am more focused on raising my family and surviving a pandemic today, so I will not make any further statements. At the moment, I am with all survivors of abuse and I am proud of them for speaking out.”

Gellar played Buffy in the 1997 to 2003 horror series.

On Wednesday, “Buffy” and “Angel” actress Charisma Carpenter spoke against Whedon, 56, and claimed he behaved unprofessionally on the set.

Carpenter, 50, logged on to Twitter to share a long note detailing his negative experience with Whedon on “Buffy” and “Angel” with the hashtag “#IStandWithRayFisher” referring to the “Justice League” star who claimed in June that Whedon was on set, the treatment given to the cast and crew members was “rude, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable”.
