Buckeyes won the PWO commitment from LB Jalen Pace, son of OSU legend Orlando Pace

Buckeyes have the 2nd recruiting class in the country in the 247Sports Composite class of 2021 team recruiting classifications. The Ohio State team, led by Justin Perez who heads Ohio’s indirect recruitment, is in the process of also bringing together a talented group of preferred attendants. And now they’ve added it to their favorite class for individual use.

Saint Louis (Mo.) Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day linebacker Jalen Pace announced that it is going to the state of Ohio as a preferred intermediary. He made the announcement on his Twitter account.

“100% committed,” Pace posted on his Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon.

Jalen chose the state of Ohio over offers for scholarships from Dayton, Lindenwood University and Quincy. He was also attracting interest from several MAC schools.

In addition to Jalen Pace, the Ohio State team has six other preferred face-to-face appointments so far. They are offensive attackers Toby Wilson Lewis Center (Ohio) Olentangy, son of Ohio’s offensive coordinator Kevin wilson, tight tip Zak Herbstreit from Nashville (Tennessee) Montgomery Bell Academy, son of ESPN analyst and former Buckeyes quarterback Kirk Herbstreit, running back Cayden Saunders from Northville (Michigan), wide receiver Kings Stocksdale Morrow (Ohio) Little Miami, linebacker Jackson Kuwatch from West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West and long snapper Mason Arnold from Tampa (Florida) Carrollwood Day.
