Buckeyes assumes as the most winning program of all time
The state of Ohio had a season shortened by the pandemic, but the Buckeyes still managed to make an appearance in the national title game. And they were certainly able to make some history in college football in their eight-game season.
During the last football season, Ohio became the most winning program by winning percentage in college football history, with a winning percentage of 0.730. It is the largest number of all programs with a minimum of 800 games.
The State of Ohio has the best winning percentage of all time in the last 100, 50 and 25 years.
The Buckeyes dominated the Big Ten last year on their way to a national title appearance. And although they lost in the title game, no program was more dominant in college football history than the Buckeyes.

Ohio State Commitment CJ Hicks Joins Birminology
It has been almost a year since the state of Ohio offered Archbishop Alter of Kettering (Ohio) star CJ Hicks, who was coming out of a great second-year season for the Knights. Hicks committed to the Buckeyes just a few weeks later.
Since then, the £ 1.80m and £ 220 prospectus linebacker has gone from recruit to recruiter, serving as a de facto class builder for the state of Ohio, while seeing his national profile change from regional star to a Top 40 prospect in the country. Hicks emerged as one of the faces of the Ohio State 2022 class not just because of his game, but because he takes every opportunity to promote his future program, doing it so well that he earned the nickname “Captain Buckeye” for recruiting analysts and even your peers.
Now, CJ Hicks is putting on the recruiter hat again and working overtime to try to bring the best players in the country to Ohio with him. The goal is simple: recruit the best class in the history of the Internet recruiting era, a title that is now held by Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class.
